ABIDE in the Caribbean
ABIDE spent her first post-refit spring in the warm blue waters of the Caribbean. Following a short visit to St. Thomas, she made her way to St. Barth and Anguilla. Gustavia, the capital of St. Barth, was a beautiful marina to serve as home base for island exploration. Highlights there included Les Piscines Naturelles and the beautiful Plage de St. Jean. The sunset views never disappointed!

Of course the sailing between the two islands was gorgeous. ABIDE proves her worth as a fast, steady sailing vessel.
ABIDE went back to the familiar sailing waters of the British Virgin Islands. The owners particularly love Eustacia Sound, near Virgin Gorda, and it was a pleasure to spend time in the area.

In May, ABIDE made her way towards Puerto Rico via Culebra and Vieques. These stops included hikes on deserted islands, diving and snorkeling, and a swim in a brilliant bioluminescent bay.

As she sailed north for hurricane season, ABIDE put in an appearance in Bermuda. St. George was the perfect stop for a few days’ rest and sightseeing.
